Where it all began...
Pretty Average is owned by Artist Hollie May. Hollie's love for illustrating began as a personal project when trying to decorate her rented London flat on a budget during lockdown 2020.
Inspired by her desire to create unique artwork that really represented her personality, she took a leap - opening Pretty Average with the aim of making quality personality-filled artwork accessible for all.
Our Design Philosophy
Creativity is at the core of everything we do. Our designs are infused with bold colours, hand-drawn illustrations, sarcasm and humour. With a background in the Public Services, Hollie embarked on this journey with the belief that our products should be well-designed, high-quality, and accessible to all.

"My aim is to balance high-quality materials and unique design with affordability. Making design-led, personality filled artwork, homewares and accessories accessible for all. I want my home to make me smile and reflect who I am - and I want the same for you! I take inspiration from the "Average" and I make it "Pretty".
